I am confident that the Oregon Congressional delegations supports the Local Community Radio Act (HR 1147/ S. 592), which will expand noncommercial, Low Power FM radio. I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said that an informed citizenry was critical to the success of our experiment in democracy.

Expanding community radio will help restore diversity to our airwaves and allow new voices and viewpoints--that are usually overlooked or distorted by the misinformation spewing from the large commercial broadcasters--to be heard.

Thanks for supporting the Local Community Radio Act. Everyone who wants to listen to KBOO should be able to do so.
