The private sector Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) has been allowed to relax traditional mark-to-market rules, which benefits the bloody banks by creating a faux bottom; the Treasury Department won't reveal the bailout details to the public (probably because flat-out giveaways of billions of dollars of taxpayer money with no strings attached will annoy taxpayers); the National Security Agency (NSA)--which has intercepted our emails and listened in on our phone calls--will receive yet more money to coordinate cyber-security: LOL. And no one has gone over the budget line-by-line: how can we justify the fact that 12% of our prison population is incarcerated *only* for smoking pot? How for that matter can we justify the worse than useless 'war on drugs'? Is the Pentagon giving up any of its funds to manufacture more weapons of mass destruction? Apparently not. One in 10 Americans *need* food stamps and the unemployment rate continues to accelerate ... think, sir, think!
