Thank you for insisting that both the Sri Lankan government and the Tamil peoples respect the safe zones and allow food and medical help ... I sometimes wonder though whether the Sri Lankan government was less than hasty in warning the populace because most of the Tamils live on the side that took the brunt of 2006 tsunami.
Unfortunately the United States, at present, doesn't have the moral stature to insist that war crimes by either side be prosecuted. The best way for us to regain that stature is to punish the war criminals that were less than a month ago booed from office.
